Travel is an important part of the research, teaching, learning and engagement activities undertaken by staff and students of the ANU. The comprehensive Travel Handbook provides practical advice, information and key actions for travel including:

• Travel approval requirements
• Booking travel
• Considerations during the travel period

The handbook replaces all previous Travel Procedures and should be read in conjunction with the Travel Policy. Both the Travel Handbook and the Travel Policy have been updated to reflect the position of the ANU in relation to:

• Traveller safety + security
• Traveller wellbeing
• Alignment to Below Zero initiatives
